Monsoon is the season when we prefer staying indoors, warm and cozy. It's the time when we spend reasonably more time inside our home. To make this time enjoyable it is necessary to maintain the home decor and ambience in such a way that it fades away the greys of monsoon season. 1. Wind chimes

Hang wind chimes in a corner of the house, preferably near a window or in the balcony where there is adequate amount of wind. The cool breezes of monsoon gently moves the wind chimes to make sweet and pleasant sound. 2. Umbrella stand

It is always important to place rugs or door mats of dark tones near entrances as dirt trappers as you don't want people to dirty the floors with muddy shoes. Look for decorative doormats which are eco-friendly, made of jute or recycled rubber.
